New iSetup API's

Integration with Subledger Accounting
Oracle Subledger Accounting (SL)is a tool that allows entities to meet multi-GAAP, corporate, and fiscal accounting requirements. The tool Accounting Methods Builder can construct the accounts, lines, descriptions, summarization, dates of journal entries, and add detailed transaction information to journal headers and lines.
The Oracle General Ledger's integration with
Subledger Accounting provides a unified process to post data to the general ledger from Oracle subledgers and external feeder systems. The
Subledger Accounting functionality provides a consistent view of the data when analyzing the information from general ledger balances to subledger transactions.

The Accounting Methods Builder (AMB) functionality creates and modifies Subledger Journal Line setups and Application Accounting Definitions. These Application Accounting Definitions define the journal entries that enable an organization to meet specific fiscal, regulatory, and analytical requirements. These definitions are then grouped into Subledger Accounting Methods and assigned collectively to a ledger. (

Enhanced Intercompany
The Global Intercompany System (GIS) feature is incorporated into the Oracle Advanced Intercompany System product (
Global Intercompany).
Account Analysis and Drilldown
Account Analysis & Drilldown is a new web-based interface with drilldown capabilities to review and analyze general ledger financial data. The display can control the view of data by choosing from various layouts, specifying various sort criteria, or defining filters. The search criteria can be saved for future use.
Note: This feature was first released in Oracle Financials Family Pack G.
GL Standard Reports Integration With XML Publisher
Oracle General Ledger's Account Analysis, General Journals and Trial Balance standard reports are now integrated with XML Publisher.
