Oracle HRMS Foundation Introduction
The Oracle HRMS functionality is built on a common platform of organizations and person structures. In the initial set up organizations, jobs or positions, and grades are defined. Business Groups and Organizations define the details of the legal entities and operating companies that comprise the business entity. Positions, a specific occurrence of one job, and Jobs, generic roles to represent the ways that different groups of employees work, define the structures by which people work in an organization. Grades record the relative status of employee assignments in jobs and positions to determine compensation and benefits.
