Oracle Human Capital Management Suite Introduction

Oracle Human Capital Management Suite is a suite of applications supporting Human Capital Management. The Oracle Human Resources Management System (HRMS) is th efoundation and consists of the following suite of applications:

  • Oracle Human Resources (HR)
  • Oracle Payroll
  • Oracle Self-Service Human Resources (SSHR)
  • Oracle iRecruitment
  • Oracle Time & Labor (OTL)
  • Oracle Learning Management
  • Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB)
  • Oracle HRMS Intelligence (HRMSi)

The applications meet the requirements of a global workforce through configurations created for the various countries localizations.

Approvals Management Oracle Approvals Management (AME) is a self-service Web application that defines business rules governing the process for approving transactions in Oracle applications that have integrated with Oracle Approvals Management.

HRMS Information Systems XXX

Oracle Labor Distribution Labor Distribution functionality allows managers to create labor schedules for employee assignments. Labor schedules provide a set of charging instructions or accounting reflecting the percentage of earnings charged to various General Ledger, Grants Accounting, or Projects. Labor Distribution distributes the compensation to General Ledger accounts, Grants Accounting awards, and Projects based on the labor schedules defined for an employee assignment. Additionally Labor Distribution contains the following functionality: Encumber salary and wages, interfaces to non-Oracle payroll and time card systems, adjust posted labor distribution, create, route, approve or certify employee effort reports and adjustments.

Oracle Benefits Standard and Advanced Benefits features are used to design benefit programs offered to employees and other participants. Eligibility and enrollment requirements are defined for programs and plans. Advanced Benefits includes Standard Benefits and adds functionality for managing life events and set up for flexible benefit programs.

Oracle Compensation Oracle HRMS provides the ability to model compensation and benefit packages. Oracle Compensation provides the set up steps for an entities compensation. Additionally there are other considerations for salaries, absences, PTO accruals, benefit plans, collective agreements, and setting up earnings and deductions for payroll processing.

Oracle HR Intellegence Oracle HRMS Daily Business Intelligence provides information about the workforce and human resource management processes. It provides workforce analysis, workforce distribution, and workforce cost information and provides management with a daily view of an entities workforce using a management dashboards.

Oracle HRMS Foundation The Oracle HRMS functionality is built on a common platform of organizations and person structures. In the initial set up organizations, jobs or positions, and grades are defined. Business Groups and Organizations define the details of the legal entities and operating companies that comprise the business entity. Positions, a specific occurrence of one job, and Jobs, generic roles to represent the ways that different groups of employees work, define the structures by which people work in an organization. Grades record the relative status of employee assignments in jobs and positions to determine compensation and benefits.

Payroll Management Oracle Payroll provides the tools to manage the payroll processes which occur in a single frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly) for set of employees being paid.

Sourcing and Deployment Talent Management - Talent Management is management of the employees competencies to align and meet an entities objectives. The components of Oracle HRMS, Oracle SSHR, and Oracle Learning Management (OLM) make up the functionality of Talent Management. Talent Management functionality includes competency management, performance management , appraisals, career paths, education and qualifications, events, and reviews. Talent-management tasks can be input through forms-based interface or the Self Service Web Based interface. Oracle iRecruitment - Oracle Recruitment is a system that manages the recruitment activities for an entity. Oracle iRecruitment is the self-service online component of the recruitment system. The details of vacancies from an entities staffing requirements are directly input into iRecruitment then posted to the enterprise's job web sites after approval. Managers can search for candidates to find or process those people who apply for the position. Prospective candidates can register in iRecruitment to apply for open vacancies. Workforce Management - Oracle HRMS provides a management system to organize your workforce. The Oracle Workforce management maintains information on current and potential workforce; Tracking roles and activities throughout the time they apply for employment to leaving employment; Tracking record deployment information such as organization, job, position, and grade of the employees; Tracking qualifications, competency profiles, work choices, and benefits eligibility data of workforce development; Repository for tracking documents of record like work visas, permits, and certificates; Processes mass changes for high volumes of information like employee job data, new departments, or new work relationships.

Time Management Oracle Time & Labor contains the time entry and approval functionality for employees and workers. Workers enter time which can be subject to an approval process and made available the applications that require a person's data. Workers may also enter their time through a configurable, web-based time entry screen, or an offline spreadsheet. A central repository called the time store serves as security for the data to the other Oracle Applications.
