Introduction

Oracle Engineering is a component of the discrete manufacturing applications suite. The application is used to define and control item revisions and changes to bills of materials with Engineering Change Orders (ECO). An ECO can specify changes to many related items and each revised item can have many revised components. An ECO may update either manufacturing bills or both manufacturing and engineering bills of material.
