Oracle Labor Distribution Introduction

Labor Distribution functionality allows managers to create labor schedules for employee assignments. Labor schedules provide a set of charging instructions or accounting reflecting the percentage of earnings charged to various General Ledger, Grants Accounting, or Projects. Labor Distribution distributes the compensation to General Ledger accounts, Grants Accounting awards, and Projects based on the labor schedules defined for an employee assignment. Additionally Labor Distribution contains the following functionality: Encumber salary and wages, interfaces to non-Oracle payroll and time card systems, adjust posted labor distribution, create, route, approve or certify employee effort reports and adjustments.
