Transaction Description

Use the Price Indexes window to set up various indexes before you assign them to a category/book combination. The same index may be assigned to many categories and many books, or each category in each book can have its own index.

The Revalued Asset Retirement report uses these indexes to report the revalued asset cost. The Price Index Listing report shows the detail of all price indexes.

ALERT! The index name appears in list of values windows that display only 40 characters. Consider keeping index names to less than 40 characters.
