Transaction Description

The Lease Payments window is used to define one of the components of a new lease. You cannot update or delete leases that are in use by the system.After saving the payment schedule, you can attach it to a lease in the Lease Details window. After you have defined the payment schedule, click on the calculate button and the form will calculated the Present Value of the lease.

After the lease payment schedule has been calculated, use the View Amortization button to create an amortization schedule. The interest expense is equal to the difference between the present value and the total amount to be paid.
