Transaction Description

If production quantities are available from another system, you can upload the information using the production interface. The interface table is named FA_PRODUCTION_INTERFACE. The batch job is submitted as a concurrent request named Upload Production. The only parameter is the book. The Production History report shows the status of imported items. Since maintenance is performed manually using the Periodic Production window, take care to make sure the data is prepared correctly.

The columns of the FA_PRODUCTION_INTERFACE table that you must populate (use SQL*Loader) are ...

• Asset_number - an alphanumeric column representing the unique asset
• Production - a numeric column representing the production amount
• Start_date - first date for which the production quantity applies
• End_date - last date for which the production quantity applies

The unit of measure and the book are not part of this interface.
