Transaction Description

Once you have rows in the FA_MASS_ADDITIONS table, the Post Mass Additions program is used to actually create the assets. The post program processes lines from the POST queue for a single book. It also processes lines in the COST_ADJUSTMENT queue, by adding the mass addition information to existing assets. After a record has been successfully processed, the queue name is changed from POST or COST_ADJUSTMENT to POSTED. The program will not touch records in the SPLIT, NEW, ON HOLD, DELETE, or a user defined queue.
