Delete Mass Additions

Transaction Description
After Mass Additions have been added to the system, the rows are still present in the FA_MASS_ADDITIONS table. The concurrent program
Delete Mass Additions will remove lines in the POSTED, DELETE, and SPLIT queues. By running this program periodically you can keep these already processed lines out of the Mass Additions window. The program will only delete lines for one designated book at a time.

To maintain an audit trail, lines from the DELETE queue are actually moved to a table called FA_DELETED_MASS_ADDITIONS. They will stay in this table until the FA Administrator responsibility runs the Purge Mass Additions program. Although this data is kept as an audit trail, there are no reports or forms that allow a user to look at the contents of FA_DELETED_MASS_ADDITIONS table. The Mass Additions Delete report is run at the same time as the Delete Mass Additions program. That report is your hard copy audit trail.
