Transaction Description

The Asset Workbench is the main transaction form for users of the professional interface. This huge form facilitates detailed transactions and asset record maintenance for asset addition, update, retirement, and inquiry. Please see the sections below for specific comments about the transaction enabled by each sub form. This form is capable of the following transactions on individual asset records ...

• Enter individual assets (use the Additions or Quick Additions buttons)
• Enter or change invoice records (from Oracle AP) (use the Source Lines button)
• Change financial details or adjust existing assets (use the Books button)
• Transfer assets (use the Assignments button)
• Retire and Reinstate existing assets (use the Retirements button)
• View history for depreciation and cost (use the Financial Inquiry button)
• Update asset header level details (use the Open button)
